This technical course is aimed at all ski touring enthusiasts who want to improve their knowledge of the winter environment in order to be more independent and responsible.
On the beautiful snow of the Queyras and Clarée valleys, you’ll discover or improve your knowledge of the elements that need to be considered when preparing a ski outing: analysis of the avalanche risk bulletin (BERA), snow conditions, risk management and avalanche rescue will be the topics covered each day in the field, as well as in the evenings in the cosy warmth of the refuge.
Our mountain guides will be with you throughout the 5-day course to help you progress and develop greater autonomy, so that you can make the right decisions in your own personal practice.
While the focus is on developing your avalanche skills, you will no doubt be thrilled with the skiing this beautiful valley affords with some unforgettable views of the entire Ecrins Massif and its ice giants.
